Analysis of Soil and Rock Strength Using Vs30 Value and Ground Shear Strain Based on Microtremor Data in the Pindul Cave Area, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta

The study of rock and soil strength is one the roles geophysics. This uses microtremor method to determine shear velocity at a depth 30 meters (Vs30) ground strain (GSS) which will show under force. was investigated in Pindul Cave Area. samples consisted karst types. HVSR analyzed area. results found that GSS map general has range values 3,1x10-1 – 3.0x10-2, with phenomenon land subsidence elastic plastic dynamics. Then, velocity-S value 250 m/s - 530 obtained have hard type, soft classification. based on such values, several zones were created describe soils rocks zone divided into 3; weak southeastern area, medium area extending from northwest-southeast direction, strong northwest
